Van damaged after 'altercation' in pub

POLICE today appealed for information about damage caused to a white Ford transit van parked in High Street, Blue Town, Sheerness.

Officers say a "verbal altercation" took place between two men at the Tudor Inn public house in High Street, Sheerness, at around 4pm on August 5 this year.

Later damage estimated at £200 worth of damage was caused to the van when the windows were smashed.

PC Allison Bridges, who is investigating the incident said: "We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the verbal altercation in the Tudor Inn pub.

"Though some time has elapsed since the incident the altercation should be memorable as the pub has few incidents of disorder and is known for its pleasant atmosphere."
