Dozens of people took advantage of a chance to have a free health check.
Swale Clinical Commissioning Group (SCCG) hosted the MoT day at Castle Connections in Queenborough on Friday as part of the NHS Beats and Breathes campaign, which aims to reduce heart and lung disease.
Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear was among the 50 or so visitors who went along.
He was roped into joining in a Bollywood-inspired dance troupe led by Amanda Hoggins from Sheerness and climbed aboard a rowing machine, loaned by Sheppey Leisure Complex, for a Fire Fit challenge with firefighter Mick Lonergan.
Guests were able to have their blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), cholesterol and blood sugar levels all checked.
There was also a healthy chilli con carne cooked by volunteers and representatives of Queenborough Rowing Club, Slimming World, a tai chi group, East Kent Health Walks and Kent Health Trainers were all there giving information and advice.
Children took part in a skipping challenge with Pudsey and made fruit cocktails.
Organiser Karen Derrick said: “It was one of our most successful events under our Beats and Breathes banner.
“It was a fun afternoon but with a serious message: It doesn’t take a lot to lead a healthy life.”
