A touch of the West End came to the Isle of Sheppey on Saturday in the second theatre show organised and promoted by LD Events.
The West End Jerseys took to the stage at a packed Oasis Academy Theatre in Sheerness to perform classic songs made famous by Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons and won a standing ovation.
They included versions of Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December ’63 and My Eyes Adored You.
The West End Jerseys featured Aaron Sidwell who played Steven Beale in the BBC soap EastEnders. His West End credits include Wicked, Ghost and Grease.
Paul Rogers, LD Events co-managing director, said: "I work for one of the UK's busiest entertainments companies and arrange events for other towns and cities.
"Being an Islander, I thought it was time Sheppey had a piece of the action.
"People always complain nothing happens here. Well, now it does, and at a fraction of the cost of other theatres.
"It is right on Sheppey's doorstep in a hidden gem of a theatre."
He added: "Our next big Sheppey event is the two-day Isle Fest open-air music festival of top tribute acts on May 25 and 26 with music from Abba, Little Mix, Olly Murs, Oasis and The Who.
"I can't thank those who supported the Saturday shows enough for their kind words but I urge the whole Island to get behind these events. If they are financially viable we will continue."
But he warned: "If Islanders don't use them, they will lose them."
The next Saturday tribute shows are Queen on June 29, George Michael on September 28 and The Beatles on December 7. Tickets are £15.
