Emergency crews were called to tackle a small fire inside a wheelie bin.

The incident took place yesterday afternoon at around 3 pm in the residential area of Oak Lane, Minster on the Isle of Sheppey.

Firefighters spent 15 minutes extinguishing the flames which had started spreading to fencing and nearby trees.

While the cause of the blaze in unknown it is not thought to have been started deliberately.
