Police arrest one after reports of an assault in Medway Road, Sheerness

Police have made an arrest following reports of an assault in Medway Road, Sheerness.

They were called at 8.25am after a woman was reportedly attacked.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of police cars in the road and ambulance crews also attended.

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with it and remains in custody.
