THE power on a train line had to be turned off following reports of a woman walking on the tracks.

Police were called to Sheerness train station shortly after 11pm on Thursday and the 24-year-old woman was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for an assessment.

The power was turned back on at 11.32pm and nobody was injured in the incident.
