A WOMAN motorist was treated for whiplash injuries by an ambulance crew following a road accident.

The medics were called to the scene of a collision between a Mondeo and a Mazda at the Parsonage Chase junction with Minster Road in Sheerness.

The injured woman was driving the Mazda and her juvenile passenger escaped injury and was comforted at the scene. The Mondeo driver was not unhurt.

The road was closed while the vehicles removed from the scene.
