Sittingbourne and Sheppey MP Derek Wyatt has become the first politician in the world to have an app on the iPhone.
Mr Wyatt is hoping 'My MP' will encourage younger people involved in politics.
Already 30 discussions on the app are taking place a week before its official launch on February 8.
The application has been designed by the Sittingbourne and Sheppey representative and not for profit company Public Zone.
Mr Wyatt is footing 10 per cent of the cost with Public Zone paying the rest.
Mr Wyatt said: "We want to encourage more MPs to put their application on the site so we have designed it so every MP in the United Kingdom can participate if they just fill in their details.

"It has got a lot of traction; I think a lot of young people like Twittering and texting more than they like emailing. An amazing number of people are already texting on the site.
"I have been quite surprised. More people have want to come to discuss by mobile than have on my website over the last eight years and my website it one of the biggest in Britain politically."
Topics already up for discussion on the app include bankers bonuses, broadband for rural communities and the future of local newspapers.
