Red Lion won the first ever Rose Bowl Charity Cup final after beating White Horse on penalties.
It was always going to be a tight affair but within two minutes of the kick off Red Lion were in front.
A ball played in from the left wing was flicked on by Nevin and Whiting looped his header into the far corner.
The match then settled down into a game of attrition with both sides guilty of some mistimed tackles and over zealous attention to the opposition.
Yet amidst this both sides managed to turn on the style with some neat one touch moves.
White Horse gained the ascendancy and the ball was bounding around the Red Lion half on a regular basis. With two minutes of the half remaining Baverstock levelled the score.
In the second half, both sides pushed forward in search of a winner and Red Lion looked to have got it when Chris Dolan scored from a free-kick.
Red Lion defended deeper and deeper and survived a few scares before eventually conceding the equaliser with six minutes remaining when Bradley Pearce fired home.
Extra-time came and went and went and it was down to the lottery of a penalty shoot-out.
Red Lion edged it to take home the trophy.
With White Horse on cup duty, it was left to Milton and Fulston to put some pressure on the Division 1 leaders.
Milton did just that after securing a 2-0 win against Leysdown.
Paul Teague and Lijah Tucker got the goals.
White Colts beat Holm Sports 5-1.
Dan Hudson (2), Alex Sammy (2) and Craig Whalin got the goals.
Vinters Green secured the Division 4 title after beating Red Lion Reserves 5-1.
Goals from Gary McGuane (3), Chris Perry and Ben Matthews secured the win.
