Players hopeful after county trial

FOUR players from Sheppey under-14s attended a Kent rugby trial in Aylesford on Sunday.

Connor Russon, Jack Bancroft, Alex Davolls and Matthew Golding all took part in the trial.

The players were put through their paces before taking part in some trial games.

More than 150 youngsters took part in the trial and players must now await a letter to see whether they have been selected for the county development squad.
