Sheerness Golf Club’s junior team won the Plate competition at the Srixon Junior 4Somes League final.

Action took place at Kings Hill Golf Club and the East Division final was contested against a team from Dartford Golf Club.

Sheerness prevailed in tough conditions to win the Plate with a score of 2 matches to 1.

The team was headed by Captain Liam Mason and also included Tom Abela, Tom Dutton, Charlie O’Reilly, Archie Knights and Archie Buckland.

Secretary Alex Tindall said: “The boys worked really hard and did the club proud.”
