Around 3,000 properties lost their power supply tonight.

The power failed in the ME10 postcode area of Sittingbourne at 5.30pm, but was restored by 6.23pm.

The problem lies in an underground cable, which will be repaired at a later date.

Power has been restored by re-routing supplies.
