KENT Police would like to speak to the people in this image after a series of bilking offences in the Swale area and other parts of the county.

At around 3.40pm on Thursday, October 19, a red Ford Fiesta being driven by a woman pulled up on the forecourt of the coast bound Thanet Way services near Faversham.

A man is then said to have got out of the vehicle and put the fuel nozzle through the rear door, apparently filling two containers in the rear of the vehicle.

The man then got back into the vehicle without paying for the fuel, before the car drove off in the direction of Whitstable.

A similar incident involving the same vehicle was subsequently reported at a service station on Key Street, Sittingbourne, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, October 28.

Similar offences, also involving a red Ford Fiesta, were also reported during October in Gillingham, Ashford and Swanley and other areas outside Kent.

Anyone with any further information is asked to contact PC Sally Kelly at Sittingbourne police station on 01795 419186 or call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 – this call is free and confidential.

Other offences reported include Tescos on Courtenay Road, Gillingham (October 28), Sainsburys on Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford ( October 20) and the Total petrol station on Heathwood Parade, Swanley (October 29).
