Police appeal after 'eggs were thrown' at lorry before crash in Mill Way, Sittingbourne

Police are appealing for information about a crash which could have been caused by eggs being thrown at a lorry.

The accident, which also involved a van, happened near Morrisons in Mill Way, Sittingbourne, last night.

Police were called at about 7.40pm.

A spokesman said: "Officers attended and there were no reported injuries.

"It is alleged that eggs may have been thrown at the lorry prior to the collision."

Motorists were advised to avoid the area while the vehicles were being recovered.
