A band with a singer and guitarist from Murston, is preparing to release its debut EP.
The Monohearts’ eight-track album Hollow is planned to be released on iTunes in the coming few weeks.
It is the group’s first stab at creating original material rather than their usual covers and it was recorded at Sheerness-based Road House Recording Studios.
Murston resident Russell Neal, who wrote the songs, said: “I’ve always dabbled in writing and putting songs together and I asked the rest of the band.
“They were all keen on it so we went from there.”
Ella, 15, and Sara Stacey, 29, who live in Sheppey, are the lead singers and their dad Mark, from Queenborough, plays bass.
Robin Hart is also on vocals and guitar and Mark Winter is the drummer.
