A two-vehicle crash and flooding caused delays on the M2.

Police were called at 9.31am to reports two vehicles had collided on the London-bound stretch of the motorway, between J5, for Sittingbourne, and J4, for Gillingham.

No injuries were reported but the road was closed and traffic held while emergency services attended the crash.

Flooding on the motorway also contributed to the delays.

It happened as a yellow weather warning was issued for Kent, with the Met Office saying some properties could experience flooding.

There were also delays on the M20 between J10 and J9, both for Ashford, due to more flooding.
