A busy A-road was blocked after a lorry crashed through the central reservation.

The A249 northbound towards the Isle of Sheppey was building following the accident involving the vehicle, which is believed to have been the only one involved.

It happened just after the entrance sliproad for Bobbing, with debris reported to be on both carriageways.

The route has since reopened.
