Police were called at 5.54am this morning to the collision, involving two vehicles - one of which then hit the central reservation barrier.

A police spokesman said: "No serious injuries have been reported, however one of the cars did cause an obstruction in lane two of the carriageway."

He added that officers attended and enforced a closure to allow debris to be cleared.
