Praise has been heaped on a school bus driver after police had to be called following an incident involving a motorist.
It is understood the Travelmasters service was pursued by another vehicle this afternoon after an altercation.
The 371G double-decker was taking children home from The Sittingbourne School when it happened.
It serves Milton Regis, Grovehurst and Iwade but a number of pupils are said to have got off early due to being scared.
In a post on its Facebook page, Travelmasters said: "We are aware of the incident that happened on the 371G this evening with a member of the public.
"This was unforseeable and the police are involved and will be reviewing all CCTV."
Travelmasters boss Tim Lambkin said the incident involved a "third party motorist" and was the subject of a continuing investigation, so he could not comment further.
Posting on Facebook, one mum said her son was a little shook up but was more concerned about how the driver was.
Another said apparently the driver handled it well, adding: "My son said he is a God."
A third added: "All the kids like him."
Responding to the posts, the driver said: "Thanks guys I’m ok. Hope everyone got home safe. Unfortunately we have to deal with insane people on the roads on a daily basis."
Mr Lambkin said his employee had driven that route for a number of years.
Police have been contacted for a comment.
