Police and ambulance service called to Swanstree Avenue in Sittingbourne after crash

Emergency services have been spotted close to a secondary school following a crash.

Two police cars and ambulances were pictured at the corner of Swanstree Avenue and Highstead Road, Sittingbourne , following the collision at around 3pm.

It happened just under half a mile from Fulston Manor School in Brenchley Road.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a road traffic collision in Swanstree Avenue, Sittingbourne.

"Officers are in attendance and, at present, there are no reports of any serious injuries."

One witness said: "The police cars have just driven off, but hundreds of students have walked past and seen the services there."

A spokesman for the ambulance service added paramedics were called out at around 3.20pm and nobody was taken to hospital.
