Man refused medical help at Sittingbourne

An ambulance and a fast response car from South East Coast Ambulance Trust were called to Station Road near Sittingbourne train station this afternoon.
A spokesman for SECAmb said: "We were called to attend a man in need of medical assistance in Station Road, Sittingbourne at about 3.20pm this afternoon and began taking him to hospital.
"But on the way he declined hospital treatment and insisted on leaving the ambulance."
Police were in attendance.
