Part of a village route is set to close for roadworks.

The closure of Breach Lane, opposite Auto Evolution, in Upchurch, near Sittingbourne, is to allow pipe relay works to be carried out.

Kent County Council said the route will be shut for up to three days from Tuesday, March 23.

"The alternative route is via A2 Hartlip Hill, London Road, High Street, Church Lane, School Lane, Bricklands, Breach Lane and vice versa."

Details of all roadworks and closures scheduled across the county can be found in our Public Notices section in print or online, along with a host of other announcements ranging from alcohol licence requests to planning applications; probate to public rights of way.
