One lane was closed and queues stretched back for miles after a crash just after 7.30am on the M2.

The three vehicle collision blocked the carriageway between junction 6 for Faversham and junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone.

But the tailbacks were cleared by 9am.

No injuries were reported, and the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder shortly after 8.10am.
