Man arrested after Southeastern worker assaulted at Sittingbourne station

A man has been arrested after a Southeastern member of staff was punched.
British Transport Police were called to Sittingbourne railway station at 4.52pm yesterday (January 2), to reports of anti-social behaviour.

A spokesman for the force said a drunken man had punched a Southeastern enforcement officer after they’d removed him from the station for his anti-social behaviour.
The spokesman added: “Officers attended and a man was arrested in connection. He was taken to custody where he remains.”
