Sittingbourne man arrested after Murston 'disturbance'

A young man has been arrested following reports of a disturbance.

Officers were called to Church Road in Sittingbourne suburb Murston at about 10am today.

A 22-year-old was subsequently arrested about a kilometre away in St John's Avenue.

An eyewitness told KentOnline he saw two officers and a police van nearby.

The suspect, who is from Sittingbourne, remains in custody.
