A 33-year-old is in police custody following a crash this morning.

Police were called to Sheppey Way, Iwade , at 7.11am.

There were reports a car had been involved in a collision near the Featherbed Farm Shop.

A spokesman said a man from nearby Sittingbourne was arrested in connection with the incident.

He remains in custody while inquiries are ongoing
