DSV van gets stuck under canopy at Morrisons petrol station in Mill Way, Sittingbourne

It was more bump than pump when this lorry driver found Morrisons’ petrol station wasn’t quite big enough for his vehicle.
The Dutch-registered HGV became stuck in the overhead canopy as it tried to enter the Mill Way site in Sittingbourne.
The incident happened at about 2pm today, causing delays to drivers heading to the neighbouring supermarket.
A witness said the lorry damaged the Morrisons’ sign at the corner of the canopy, but the petrol station remained open while it was released.
It was freed within the hour.
Morrisons declined to comment, saying it was an “ongoing incident”.
It’s the second time in a year a vehicle has come unstuck in the area.
In August, the top deck of an Arriva bus was sliced off as drove under the railway bridge in nearby Milton Road.
No one was injured.
