Police appeal after motorist attacked by jogger in St Michael's Road, Sittingbourne

A motorist has been taken to hospital with facial injuries after being attacked by a jogger.

Police are appealing for information after a man in his 50s was injured during the incident in St Michael's Road, Sittingbourne , at around 5.20pm yesterday.

The jogger is thought to have run up to the victim's door and opened it before attacking him.

He is a 5ft 10in white man in his late 20s with brown, wavy hair, who was wearing a light grey tracksuit at the time.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are investigating the circumstances and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.

"They would also like to obtain dash camera footage, or privately held CCTV, that captures the incident."
