A video exploring the inside of a new multi-storey car park using a Hoverboard has chalked up 2,520 views.

The unknown cameraman recorded his visit one evening as the sun was setting over Sittingbourne.

He starts his tour outside the town's new four-storey car park and somehow gains entry before taking a lift to the top of the building - which isn't even open to the public.

Viewers see the mystery man going up in one of the new lifts and can catch a glimpse of his feet on the Hoverboard.

He goes to the top of the building and after taking in a view of the town from the fourth floor he starts descending.

As he goes, viewers can see that each floor is colour-coded.

Bays on the ground floor are mainly reserved for disabled motorists.

As the cameraman reaches the exit, guarded by electric shutters, viewers can make out the barriers which are still in protective plastic bags.

The 5min 21sec video has been posted on the Morthren You-Tube channel.

It's owner, called Daz, wrote: "Welcome to my channel. I'm into all kinds of things to do with transportation, particular the equipment and infrastructure that makes that possible.

"I also like to explore abandoned and derelict buildings and structures.

The site, which has 12,728 subscribers, includes a video of Southend Pier, Funton Brickworks at Lower Halstow, an abandoned Tesco multi-storey car park at Chatham and the remains of the Rushenden Pier railway on the Isle of Sheppey which has been watched 55,000 times.

The new £3 million multi-storey car park has been built next to The Forum Shopping Centre and is part of the Spirit of Sittingbourne regeneration project.

It was expected to open in April but has been delayed until later this summer.

There were many rumours circulating that the delay was because contractors had 'forgotten' to include lifts. But the new video blows that conspiracy theory out of the water.

Cllr Cameron Beart (Con) commented: "He used the lifts everyone on the Sittingbourne Gossip Board claims it doesn't have!"

A spokesman for Swale council confirmed: "There’s nonsense about lifts going around on social media. There are lifts in there, as planned."
