The opening date for a new high street dessert shop has been revealed.
Earlier this year Cake Box confirmed it would be opening its eighth Kent branch in Sittingbourne.
Its handmade, 100% egg-free treats will be available in the town from tomorrow with a grand opening taking place on Saturday, March 16.
Its bright purple shopfront is now ready for business. It filled the empty unit that used to be home to the former CBD Health Choices Ltd shop between Emily’s Nails and Beauty and the Co-op Funeral Care near The Red Lion pub.
Cake Box began its journey in 2008 and has shops in Strood, Maidstone, Ashford, Chatham, Folkestone, Gravesend and Dartford.
The founders follow a strict lacto-vegetarian diet, which is how they came up with the idea for the company.
They say: “You really can’t taste the difference”. For more information visit the business’s Facebook page here.
You can order celebration cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes and a range of other egg-free treats.
A spokesman for the business said: “Cake Box is excited to announce the grand opening of its latest store in Sittingbourne.
“We are hosting a grand opening this Saturday and offering a wide selection of freshly baked delights.
“Customers can look forward to a range of celebration cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cheesecakes and more, all handmade with the finest ingredients and crafted with Cake Box's signature attention to detail.
“To celebrate the opening on Saturday, Cake Box will be offering complimentary tastings and free cupcake giveaways throughout the day.
“Join Cake Box in welcoming its newest addition to the community and enjoy a day filled with sweet delights.”
