Lynsted Lane in Lynsted near Sittingbourne reopen after being blocked by overturned car

A road is now reopen after being blocked by an overturned car.

The crash happened in Lynsted Lane, Lynsted, between Sittingbourne, and Faversham at around 10am.

The road was closed in both directions near its junction with Bogle Road.

It has since been cleared and traffic appears to have returned to normal.

Police originally attended and a force spokesperson said: “No injuries were reported.

“Fire crews also attended due to a fuel spillage. Patrols remain at the scene while arrangements are underway to recover the vehicle.”

Fire confirmed they were there to assist police and finished the call at 10.48pm.
