A car fire is being treated as suspicious.

Firefighters were called to the Old Ferry Road, just before Raspberry Hill in Iwade, just before 8pm on Sunday.

They arrived to find a blazing silver Mercedes.

It is not known how the fire started but police are investigating the incident.

At this stage it is not being linked to a series of fires in Swale.
