Officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a car crashed into another vehicle, killing a boy.
At 9.55pm on Thursday, May 18, a white Mitsubishi L200 truck travelling on the A2 London Road, Newington, was in collision with a parked vehicle and a wall near the junction of Playstool Road.
One of the passengers of the truck, 17-year-old Jack Burmingham from Medway, died at the scene.
Three other people suffered injuries and were taken to hospital.
Police are keen to talk to the driver of a dark-coloured, medium-sized hatchback-style car which passed through the area.
It was travelling from the direction of Keycol Hill towards Rainham – the same direction as the L200.
A spokesman for the force said: "The driver of the vehicle is not suspected of any wrongdoing however officers believe they may have important information on the incident."
Anyone with information call Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 with reference MC/DH/102/17.
