A road was closed after a late-night crash saw a car collide with a parked vehicle.

Officers were called to Belmont Road, Sittingbourne, just after 10pm, to the aftermath of the crash.

Witnesses described see the road cordoned off and cars being stopped by the Park Road junction.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene following the incident.

The road was shut for more than two hours and police left the scene at 12.20am this morning.

No injuries or arrested were reported.
