Four teenagers arrested after robbery and assault from shop in Sittingbourne High Street

Four teenagers have been arrested after vapes were stolen from a shop and a shopworker was assaulted.

The alleged robbery took place at a shop in Sittingbourne High Street on Tuesday last week. March 14

An unknown person reportedly went into the store, assaulted the shopworker and took a box of vapes before leaving with two other people.

The victim visited a local hospital as a precaution but was not injured.

Officers attended the store to view the CCTV footage and following a search three boys were located and arrested in the high street.

Another boy was arrested nearby and the vapes were located.

The boys, aged between 14 and 17 and from Sittingbourne, were all arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They have since been released on bail while enquiries continues.
