A crash involving three vehicles blocked traffic on part of the A249.

Emergency services were called to a collision, which happened Sheppey-bound at the Iwade turn-off at around 6.35pm.

Highways officials said one of the vehicles has struck the crash barriers.

It is not yet known if anyone is injured, but traffic was backing up to the Bobbing turn-off.

The road was clear at around 8pm.
