Sittingbourne's St Michael's Road to shut for up to four nights for urgent footway repairs

A town's major route is to be closed for up to four nights from tonight.

The A2 St Michael's Road in Sittingbourne will be shut from 9pm-5am for up to four nights.

The closure is to allow Erith contractors to carry out urgent footway repairs as part of the Spirit of Sittingbourne town centre regeneration project.

The road will be closed for up to four nights

The A2 will be closed to through traffic at St Michaels Road between West Street and Dover Street.

The alternative route is via the A2 London Road, A249, Staplehurst Road, St Paul's Street, Mill Way, Eurolink Way, Crown Quay Lane and St Michael's Road.
