A vehicle has been left teetering in a precarious position after mounting the central reservation of the A249.

Motorists faced rush-hour delays following the accident on the southbound carriageway near Rumstead Lane at Stockbury, Sittingbourne.

Police were called just after 6am but both lanes remained open.

A Highways England spokesman said the vehicle would be recovered after the morning rush-hour peak.

No one was reported to have been injured in the incident.
