A young entrepreneur is in the running to be crowned the winner of a Dragons’ Den-style competition.

Kiran Reardon was one of four people invited to pitch his website Adkick to a panel of seven leading business professionals.

This was part of Young Start-up Talent’s 2015 finals held at Discovery Park, Sandwich.

The 24-year-old’s business lists advertising space made available by companies across Kent.

This might include billboards on motorways, mobile ad vans, or roundabout sponsorship.

The Woodstock Road resident said: “This experience has been absolutely fantastic.

"I’ve got some expert advice along the way and I haven’t just learnt a lot, I’ve had so much fun.”

The winner of a prize fund worth £50,000 to go towards the first year of their business will be announced on September 9 at the Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury.
