Thousands of pounds of damage was caused to a youth worker’s car as she was inside a church meeting teenagers.
It happened sometime on May 9 as Jaya Judd, 26, of Ambleside, Sittingbourne, was in the Net Church, East Street.
Her father Leslie Horan said: “She is extremely upset by what happened. Her newly bought car was used as a trampoline and it is possibly a write-off.”
Mrs Judd had recently moved to the town from Dartford after she married Peter, a firefighter at Sittingbourne.
Mr Horan said: “This attack on her car right outside the church was an awful welcome to Sittingbourne. It was a mindless attack.”
Jumping
Mrs Judd works as a personal youth advisor for Connexions youth help based in St Michael’s Road, Sittingbourne.
Police are appealing for information about the incident which took place at 11.15pm where a man was seen jumping on vehicles parked in the street. A silver Nissan Micra was badly damaged, with dents in the roof, offside wheel and bonnet. Another car was also damaged in the incident.
The offender is white, aged between 17 and 25, of slim build, with short dark hair and was wearing a light blue top and dark trousers.
