In an article published on October 16, 2017, we reported on concerns which the TV star and model, Katie Price, had made on Twitter about a recent attempt to hack her mobile phone.

That article could have been understood to mean that her ex-husband, Alex Reid, was the person responsible.

This was not our intention and we fully accept that such an impression would have been entirely false: there were no grounds whatsoever for believing that Mr Reid had attempted to hack Ms Price's phone.

We apologise to Mr Reid for suggesting otherwise and for any hurt or distress caused to him as a consequence and have agreed to pay costs and damages to Mr Reid.
