Kent police and crime commissioner Ann Barnes is to appear at a public meeting in Swale this week.
She will be speaking about crime and policing across the borough and residents from Sittingbourne, Faversham and Sheppey are being invited to attend.
Swale District Commander, Chief Inspector Tony Henley will also be in attendance to answer questions from the audience.
Other items on the agenda include an update from Kent County Council on the partial switching off of street lighting.
The Local Engagement Forum in Sittingbourne will be held on Tuesday at the Coniston Hotel, London Road, Sittingbourne, from 7pm to 9pm.
Residents can have their say on local issues and ask questions during a public session.
Cllr Mike Whiting, who will be chairing the meeting, said: "I am really pleased that Mrs Barnes accepted my invitation to attend this public meeting here in Swale.
"I hope that residents from Sheppey, Faversham and Sittingbourne come along and ask their questions.
"Crime and fear of crime is an issue for many in the borough and the police locally have had some notable success in reducing criminal activity in many areas.
"It will be good to hear how Mrs Barnes is planning for the future policing of our area."
