Police are investigating after a delivery driver was threatened by a man.

It happened Burley Road, Sittingbourne, at about 9pm last night when the driver returned to his vehicle and saw a man acting suspiciously.

He challenged the man who swore at him and walked away towards Bassett Road.

The suspect is described as being white, about 5ft 10in, of medium build and wearing a black hooded top, with the hood up, blue jeans, black trainers and a scarf covering most of his face.

The victim believes the man may have been holding a knife.

Officers are urging anyone who has information that may assist the investigation to call police on 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/174869/19.
