Armed police were called to a Sittingbourne property last night (Thursday) .

It followed reports of a disturbance at an address in Woodstock Road at 5.40pm.

Nobody was injured but it's understood a window at the property was damaged when an air rifle was shot.

No arrests have been made but armed police returned to the town today (Friday) as part of the ongoing investigation.
