Two men have been charged with possession of a Class B drug following a raid on a Sittingbourne address.

Mark Bell, 36, and Christopher King, 18, both of Cambridge Road, were charged with possession of herbal cannabis after a search was carried out at the address last Thursday. They are due to appear at Sittingbourne Magistrates on Monday, May 17.

A further search was carried out at a flat in Broom Road, Sittingbourne, on the same day and a 29-year-old and a 22-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

The 29-year-old was given an £80 Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND) for cannabis possession. The 22-year-old was released without charge.
