A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed multiple times.
Officers were called to Leigh Road in Sittingbourne at around 12.40am on Friday, October 28, where a man was seriously injured.
The victim was flown to hospital during the early hours after being treated by paramedics on the ground and remains in a critical condition.
A 19-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.
One witness described seeing a huge emergency service response the following day, with forensic teams spotted along the road.
A police spokesman said: "At around 12.40am on Friday, Kent Police was called to a property in Leigh Road, Sittingbourne where a man was being treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds by the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"The man was flown to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition."
The 19-year-old has since been released on conditional bail while officers investigate the circumstances.
He will have to return to the police station on Monday, January 23.
