A man arrested after a young biker was killed in a crash has had his bail extended.
The 32-year-old from Sittingbourne was arrested last month after a fatal collision between a black Honda CBR1000 and a blue Citroen C4 Picasso near Milton Creek fishing lakes.
It happened at around 9.45pm when the car turned into Swale Way, Sittingbourne, when leaving the lakes.
Whitstable biker Ryan Rudden, 26, died at the scene while passenger Adam Davies was left with serious injuries.
An inquest last week revealed Mr Rudden, who tried to avoid the car, died as a result of head and chest injuries.
It was suspended to allow the police investigation to continue.
The 32-year-old arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving was released on bail pending further inquiries until yesterday.
On his return he had his bail extended until Saturday, August 14.
Four people were initially arrested by police, all from Sittingbourne, while the other three were released pending further investigations.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw the car in the moments before the crash.
A police spokesman added: "In particular, officers would like to talk to anyone who was at the Milton Creek fishing lakes who may have information about the occupants of the car."
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage which could assist officers with their investigation is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
