A baker is once again starring in a nationwide TV advert featuring presenters Ant and Dec.
Colin Hopper, who works at Morrisons in Mill Way, Sittingbourne, appears in the supermarket giant’s latest commercial.
It’s the second time the dad-of-two has taken part in the firm’s nationwide campaign.
Last year, Colin of London Road, Teynham, featured in an advert broadcast during ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent series.
The 43-year-old said: “My family are very proud. Ant and Dec were really nice guys and great to have a joke with. They really went out of their way to put me at ease.”
During the 40-second commercial, which launched last week, Colin is among a host of specialist staff playing the role of market trader.
As they go about setting up stalls for the day in an alfresco recreation of the store’s inhouse layout, the Geordie duo walk past.
Colin, who has worked at Morrisons for 27 years, appears on screen just as he does in his normal working day – carrying a basket of freshly-baked bread on his shoulder.
Company corporate brand marketing director Belinda Youngs said: “Colin was perfect for the role and he couldn’t have been more professional on set.
“We might have started to worry about losing him to a career in acting if we didn’t know he was such a dedicated baker.”
