A beauty salon is not only making its clients look good, but has come tops in the style stakes in a Christmas window display competition.
Seven Park Road, Sittingbourne, was crowned champion thanks to the bauble garland around its doorway.
Brocades bridal studio, which is also in the town, organised the contest for retailers and businesses.
There were 12 entries and the winner was chosen by Sunil Popat of Family Homes, an estate agents in West Street, Sittingbourne.
Sam Duckworth, who owns Seven Park Road, received a trophy and flowers for the salon's hard work.
Her winning display was created by A Favour For You, a luxury event styling and balloon company.
Judge Sunil said: "I think all the retailer displays looked amazing.
"When considering a winner, I took into account the size of the shop frontage compared to the overall impact, the use of colour and the use of lights.
"After a great deal of consideration the winner, for me, was Seven Park Road.
"Despite it having one of the smallest frontages, I feel that they have been very resourceful and creative in using the door surround and metal rails as the display area.
"The use of the bright colours and little lights surrounding a traditional black door creates a stunning, stylish and welcoming display."
Brocades bridal studio, which has been open for 23 years, hopes to run the new competition every year.
Julie Harris, owner of the business, has always been very passionate about the town.
She said: "I wanted to bring retailers and businesses together after a turbulent couple of years.
"Hopefully this will be the first year of many for this fun competition. I very much look forward to seeing next year's displays and hope more businesses get involved.
"I'd like to thank everyone that got involved and for all their great efforts in making the town look more festive."
