Firefighters attended a blaze in a first-floor bedroom of a Sittingbourne home at around 1.15pm this afternoon.

The crew used a hose-reel to tackle the flames at the address in Murston Road.

A thermal imaging camera was also used to check if the fire had spread.

It is not yet clear how the blaze started.
